Rich Vickers headlines "Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest" at Camdenton, Missouri.
On Friday June 15, Rich Vickers was the headliner and featured ETA for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Contest at
the Stoneridge Amphitheatre in Camdenton, Missouri. Vickers was asked to perform at this event since he has
already qualified for the finals in Memphis by winning the first ever ULTIMATE ELVIS TRIBUTE contest earlier in
the year (see related article). Rich performed with the EAS band www.elvistributeband.com the “official” Elvis
Presley Enterprises tribute band that will be featured in the semi finals and finals in Memphis. Elvis Tribute Artist
Bill Cherry, who placed second behind Vickers in the Arnold Competition walked away with first place honors on
this night. Congratulations to Bill and his fine fan club from Illinois.
There were nine competitors and Vickers capped the evening by showcasing, Burning Love, Trouble, and
American Trilogy. The crowd of nearly 1000 came alive for two standing ovations during Vickers’ electrifying
performance.
